Qiongfei Zhou
PhD student at KU Leuven, Belgium
Qiongfei Zhou is from China. She obtained her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Medicine at Central South University (China). During her Master’s program, her research focus was on the proteomic study of osteoporosis and mechanisms of the role of exosomal miRNAs in bone remodeling. In 2019, Qiongfei joined the ArthritisHeal ITN as a Marie Curie PhD Fellow. She is currently working at the Laboratory for Tissue Homeostasis and Disease that is directed by Prof. Rik Lories and Prof. Silvia Monteagudo, and is part of the Skeletal Biology and Engineering Research Center at KU Leuven. Her project aims to analyze the resolution of inflammation and its lipid mediators in mouse models of osteoarthritis.
